Hurricane Sandy – Red Cross Day 3
As we left the greater NY chapter at 6:30 am and took the bus out to Bohemia, my site manager told us we plan to distribute about 10,000 meals to Long Island within the next 2 days. Today our team of 11 trucks did some amazing selfless work. In the picture is Deborah Kirnon at St Anne’s Church in Brentwood NY and behind us is all the supplies from our truck that she has organized for distribution within her community for those most in need. Hats off to her for great work and the American Red Cross for providing!
