Singer Songwriter Sings for Squirrel

The Triangle Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic needs support in the form of land, funding and volunteers in order to keep their doors open. The Chapel Hill Art Gallery held a Reception for their month long Wildlife Art Exhibit where artists donated a large portion of their proceeds to the TWRC. Debbie Liske provided musical entertainment at the reception and offered proceeds of her CD sales to the cause also. During the evening, the TWRC Rehabilitators fed a baby squirrel that lost it’s mother and Debbie was able to hold it briefly. She sang (whispered actually) her new unreleased song called “Happy” to the little animal and it closed it’s eyes and rested while waiting to be fed by the rehabilitators.
