I love 70’s music.
I know just about every song that hit the charts. I know all the lyrics. I have to use an iPad to remember my own lyrics, but I can remember the words from a one-hit-wonder from 1973 without thinking twice. It’s interesting to think about which musical decades have the most impact on people when they were kids. I feel like I “grew up” in the 70’s, but they were pre-teen years for me. Is that when you “grow up”? I don’t know, but I love 70’s music. I’ve always tried to learn other people’s songs, but I end up writing new stuff instead.
