paws b’cause concert to benefit the Coalition to Unchain Dogs
The next paws b’cause concert of original acoustic music by Debbie Liske & Mike Garrigan will be on Saturday, July 30th from 7-9pm at the Five Oaks Clubhouse in Durham, North Carolina. This event will spotlight a wonderful organization that helps to improve the welfare of dogs living in under-served communities. If you haven’t been to the Clubhouse before, it is a fantastic venue that is perfect for singer/songwriter concerts with a relaxed atmosphere where you can chill to the music with snacks, beer, soda, wine or bring your own cooler even. But it’s only two hours long so come early to get a seat!
The Cause:
The Coalition to Unchain Dogs improves the welfare of dogs by reaching out to populations that face cultural and practical barriers in accessing services for their pets. By offering free wellness care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and fences, and by providing nonjudgmental assistance and building relationships within the community, the Coalition to Unchain Dogs bolsters connections between dogs and their human companions.
The Music:
Mike will perform his original songs at 7pm, and then join Debbie and Ronnie Reed from 7:30-9:00pm . It will be a fun night of music and entertainment while learning about and supporting a great cause.

Five Oaks Clubhouse is in a neighborhood, so plan on a little extra time to find it. (It’s not that hard). The address is 5109 Pine Cone Dr, Durham 27707. You’ll see some signs when you get close.

The goal is to raise awareness on relevant topics and inspire compassion with a sense of community. Each live concert will be held at the Five Oaks Clubhouse in Durham – an incredible venue off the beaten path – perfect for a fun night of music and learning about a great cause. Snacks, beer, wine, and miscellaneous drinks are provided.
