PAWS B’Cause Benefit Concert


The next paws b’cause concert of original acoustic music by Debbie Liske & Ronnie Reed will be on Saturday, January 28th from 7-8:30 pm at the Five Oaks Clubhouse in Durham, North Carolina. This event will spotlight an organization that helps to promote animal welfare through advocacy, protection, humane education, and reduction of pet overpopulation. If you haven’t been to the Clubhouse before, it is a fantastic venue that is perfect for singer/songwriter concerts with a relaxed atmosphere where you can chill to the music with snacks, beer, soda, wine or even bring your own cooler. But it’s only and hour and a half so come early to get a seat!

The Cause:

The Johnston County Animal Protection League is a non-profit, all volunteer, organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare. They are a collection of passionate individuals with different strengths and personalities, but they all have one thing in common…they love animals and believe they deserve to be safe, cared for and loved. Join us to learn more about JCAPL and how you can help.

Five Oaks Clubhouse is in a neighborhood, so plan on a little extra time to find it. (It’s not that hard). The address is 5109 Pine Cone Dr, Durham 27707. You’ll see some signs when you get close.


paws b’cause is a concert series of original acoustic music by Debbie Liske and friends that seeks to help pets in need. Each concert will benefit a different charitable cause. The goal is to raise awareness on relevant topics and inspire compassion with a sense of community. Each live concert will be held at the Five Oaks Clubhouse in Durham – an incredible venue off the beaten path – perfect for a fun night of music and learning about a great cause. Snacks, beer, wine, and miscellaneous drinks are provided.
