About The Cabin
Welcome to Azure Sky, a charming retreat nestled in the serene Buck Mountain Community and named after our dog, Azure. This pet-friendly cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, and modern entertainment options including Smart TV and a DVD player with tons of DVDs. The community boasts numerous amenities such as hiking trails, a catch-and-release pond, and a picturesque waterfall.
The cabin is about 20 minutes to the nearest town, so be sure to bring food supplies. However, it is still within easy reach of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Boone, a vibrant town known for its stunning mountain scenery, lively arts scene, and outdoor adventures. For the adventurous, a drive of about an hour leads to ski resorts offering skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, whitewater rafting, and zip-lining.
The amazing basement features stand-up classic video games, a pool table, two ping pong tables, air hockey, foosball, a full set of free weights with a workout area, and much more. This space is enjoyed by kids and adults alike, but be prepared – your kids will want to come back! There’s also a dog door for your furry friends that opens up into an enclosed side yard where you can relax in the 6-person hot tub with incredible long-range views.
Most of our guests are return visitors, and we only rent to family and friends. The Buck Mountain community is private, safe, and clean, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable stay. You'll not find a better view off the back deck – it never gets old.
